Athol Street Hockey Assoc.
We are a non profit youth dek hockey program based in Athol, Massachusetts. We offer four different age groups of players each season. We offer a Spring and Fall season, as we are an outdoor rink and are playing through heat, snow, rain, etc.

Chipmunks (4-6 years old)
Penguins (7-9 years old)
Beavers (10-12 years old)
Cadets (13-17 years old)

When
Spring Season - Online sign ups begin February / In person sign ups begin March. Skills day takes place in early April, and the season then runs end of April until the end of June. (Weather permitting)
Fall Season - Online sign ups begin mid July / In person sign ups begin August. Skills day takes place in early September, and the season then runs mid September until the middle of November. (Weather permitting)

We are located at 1060 Pleasant Street, Athol MA 01331.
Practices
Teams practice once a week - Coaches will reach out with their time slot once teams are drafted.
Chipmunks - Tuesday @ 5PM
Penguins - Thurs. & Fri. @ 5/6PM
Beavers - Mondays @ 5/6PM
Cadets - Monday Evenings
Games
Each team will have a guaranteed 10 games (weather permitting). Games are played on Saturdays with a weekday game here and there. (This weekday game will take place of the team’s practice).

Jerseys
Team shirts are included in the sign up fee.
Extra Costs
There are no extra costs expected of players. There is an option to sponsor your child’s team, which is $175, but this is not mandatory.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to play?
We charge $55 for new players who are signing up as an incentive to try out the sport for the first time & hope that they enjoy themselves, and we charge $65 for returning players to come back each season & watch them grow!
How can I sign my kid up?
We offer both in person and online sign ups! You can either choose to sign your child up on this website (Crossbar), or you can stop in and sign up in person at 1060 Pleasant Street at any of the times we have posted on our Facebook page!
How can I sponsor a team? Can I sponsor even if I don’t have a child in the league?
YES! You can sponsor as many teams as you’d like, whether you have a child in the league or not. In order to sponsor a team - we ask that you stop into the pro shop at one of the times posted on our Facebook page and fill out our sponsorship form. It costs $175, and we accept cash, check, or Venmo.
